This is just some of my favorite lore to use in my werewolf roleplays. Though I am always open to other lore! I love werewolves and wolves themselves.
Creator
Usually I go with The Moon Goddess - She created the wolves by combining the soul of a human and a wolf.
Mates
Soulmate. Other half.
Found after 18.
Can feel the pull to the mate with scent and warmth when touched.
Rare second mate
Females leave their pack to join their mates.
Packs
Packs are usually generations old.
Rankings
Alpha
Luna - Alpha Female
Beta Pair
Healers - usually doctors
Elders
Pups
Omega - I don't use it often.
Housing
Usually they live in compound like neighborhoods that are only for the wolves.
They have something called the “Pack House”. Usually a large house with many rooms that the younger wolves (shifted only) till they find their mate (usually 18).
Jobs
Wolves can have normal human jobs, I mean they need money.
The Wolf
A wolf usually shifts at the age of 13.
Sometimes I use the wolf and the human as separate beings. The wolf will have a name and a personality of their own (usually similar to their human’s personality).
Only natural colors. Though the pelts don't have to be a natural pattern.
Eyes can range from natural to unnatural.
Abilities
Shifting - Usually I choose to do normal sized wolves. Though I do sometimes go a little bigger. Sometimes (rarely) I go with “Twilight” wolves.
Telecommunication - usually with the pack they are in
Heightened senses - in human form and wolf form
